Canadian tax receipts

CanadaHelps issues a tax receipt; you will not also receive a tax receipt from Birken if you use this method.

Birken receipts are normally issued by e-mail; please include your e-mail address with any donation. (Receipts can be sent by mail, instead, if this is specified with the donation.)

Canadian tax receipts must include your name and mailing address; if you donate electronically, please be sure we have your mailing address if you wish a tax receipt.

Electronic transfers & fees

You can find us at CanadaHelps by name: search for Birken Forest.
PayPal and Interac use an e-mail address to identify the recipient of the funds. Our e-mail address is meditate@birken.ca
CanadaHelps and PayPal require a credit card; Interac comes from your bank account.
NOTE: At present Interac transfer is not available to us. Please use another option.

The fees charged are part of our expenses; you get a tax receipt for the full amount of your donation.CanadaHelps charges a percentage; PayPal charges a sliding scale; Interac charges a fixed fee.
