Winter Retreat Bookings - March 2012
Birken will be closed to visitors in January and February while Ajahn Sona is travelling to Asia. Bookings are now open for this year's Winter Retreat (March 2012 only).
Please consult our Room Vacancies page for the number of rooms currently available per week. As usual, the minimum stay is one week; all arrivals and departures must be on Wednesdays. The maximum stay is two weeks, to allow more meditators to have an opportunity to visit. Meditators who have attended winter retreat at Birken before will be given priority for winter retreat bookings, as well as those who have been visiting Birken for at least two years. Regular bookings of Personal Retreats will resume in April 2012.
