Registration Info
If you would like to come to Birken for a personal or scheduled retreat, please fill in a registration form.
If the form is filled in correctly, when you "submit" you will get a screen that says "Thank you" at the top; you will soon receive an e-mail with a copy of the data from your form; and within 3 days you will receive an e-mail from the Birken office confirming your visit. If any of these does not happen, you are not registered.
If the form is NOT filled in correctly, you will get a screen with red at the top, indicating which fields need to be filled in. Please continue until you get the "Thank you" screen, or we will not get your registration form.
Please check the Scheduled Retreats and the Room Vacancies pages before submitting a registration form for a personal retreat, and do not request a personal retreat during Scheduled retreats, or times when there are no vacancies.
We ask that you not make a reservation until it is possible to commit firmly to a visit. The monastery office deals with a high number of requests. Changes and cancellations often prevent others from having the precious opportunity to visit the monastery.

If you need transportation to Birken, or can offer rides, please consult our rideshare board.
We respect your privacy. Feel free to examine our privacy policy before you submit any information to Birken via this form.
Also Note:
- Your travel arrangements must be complete before you arrive; the Birken office facilities (phone, email) are not available to guests for making travel arangements or for other purposes).
- Change happens.... cancellations sometimes need to be made. If this occurs, please let us know as soon as possible, so that your space can be used by another person. Many thanks!
