5-day Retreat

Silent retreat for experienced meditators.

Longer sitting periods.

Regular instruction; Dhamma talks.

Interviews available.

This is a silent retreat – for people who have some meditation experience and have attended a residential retreat before. Depending on the experience of the people in the group, the daily talks may be meditation instructions or Dhamma talks, at a level appropriate to the group. It provides longer sitting meditation periods (40 to 45 minutes), alternating with walking meditation. The retreat is conducted in silence: no conversation between participants from Wednesday tea-time to Sunday noon. There is an opportunity for general questions at tea time, and personal interviews or chats with Ajahn Sona during the retreat.
