Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside, or anywhere near the monastery.

Smoking while walking in the surrounding forest is also prohibited, as the pine beetle infestation has killed many trees, leaving them tinder-dry. There are dry pine needles covering the forest floor. They could catch fire very easily.
