Community Day Honouring Luang Por Pasanno: June 16, 2019

We invite you to join us on Sunday, June 16 for a Community Day honouring Luang Por Pasanno, the most senior North American monk in our tradition. Luang Por Pasanno has gifted us the past six months with his presence at Birken while he has been on personal retreat and he will soon be heading back to Abhayagiri Monastery in California.

As an expression of our deep respect for Luang Por Pasanno we will be offering a pot luck dana meal to the Sangha and all guests at 11:30am that day.

Please email us by no later than June 12 if you plan to come that day and include how many people will be joining you, as well as if you will be bringing a dish; please bring along enough food for 6-8 people which requires no preparation. All guests should plan to arrive by 10:30am for this very special Community Day.
