NOTICE: Birken Forest Buddhist Monastery’s 2020 Virtual AGM

This year, due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held virtually via Zoom on Sunday, October 25th at 4:00pm PDT.

In order to accommodate everyone who may be interested in participating, we ask that you please notify us by email no later than Sunday, October 18th, if you plan to join us online. Please include your full name and email address so we may send you the Zoom link and other meeting details prior to the AGM.

Please note that due to time constraints and the inability to see everyone on the computer screen, we will not be calling on any attendee who may raise their physical hand during the meeting, either for questions or for voting. Only virtual hand raising and voting will be permitted during the AGM. Please review this video for detailed instructions on how to use these important Zoom meeting features. If you are not familiar with the Zoom meeting platform, please take the time to review their instructional videos prior to our AGM.

The AGM Report and Financial Statements will be emailed to all confirmed Zoom attendees a few days prior to the meeting along with Zoom meeting details. The Minutes of the Meeting, along with Financial Statements, will be emailed to all of our newsletter subscribers later in November.
